What to know about the Strata

The Self-Select Category is chosen from Fitness Clubs, Select Streaming Services, Live Entertainment, Cosmetic Stores/Barber Shops/Hair Salons, or Pet Supply Stores 2. New accounts start with Select Streaming Services, and the choice can be changed once each calendar quarter, so a cardmember who never changes it earns the bonus only on streaming 2. Restaurants earn 2 points per $1 and all other purchases 1 point per $1 2.

For Citi Travel bookings paid partly with points, only the part charged to the card earns points, and cancelled bookings earn nothing 2. Supermarket earning excludes superstores, warehouse clubs, convenience stores, drugstores, specialty vendors and meal kit services 2.

Points can be used through Citi Travel, for gift cards, cash back and Shop with Points, or moved to partners including American Airlines, JetBlue, Virgin Atlantic and Choice Hotels, with a minimum transfer of 1,000 points 1. Foreign purchases carry a fee of 3% of the U.S. dollar amount of each purchase, and authorized users can be added without a fee 1. Other listed features are free FICO Score access, Mastercard ID Theft Protection (enrollment required) and Citi Entertainment ticket access 1. Travel insurance and purchase protection are not listed by the issuer for this card 12.
