What to know about Capital One cards

The travel cards are tiered by fee: Venture X at $395, Venture at $95 and VentureOne at $0 6. Their miles redeem for travel at 100 miles per $1, through Capital One Travel or as a credit for travel purchases made within 90 days, and eligible accounts can transfer miles to select external travel loyalty programs 8. The cash back cards pay rewards that can be redeemed in any amount and do not expire for the life of the account 9. For building credit, Capital One offers QuicksilverOne and SavorOne with a $39 fee, Platinum with none, and secured versions of Quicksilver and Platinum 6.

Capital One says it issues credit cards on three networks, Discover, Visa and Mastercard, and that a card's network is shown by its logo 10. Among the cards covered here, Capital One states a network and tier only for Venture X, which it presents as a Visa Infinite card with the Visa Infinite Guide to Benefits 111. For Venture, VentureOne, Savor, SavorOne, Quicksilver and QuicksilverOne, Capital One publishes a Guide to Card Benefits covering accounts on the Discover Network, in effect as of 02/01/2026, but it does not state which network a new account will be issued on, so the coverage figures on these pages apply to Discover Network accounts only 25.

Guides are listed by network and tier on Capital One's benefits-guide page, which tells cardholders to find their network from the card or the account statement 5. Both the Visa Infinite and Discover Network guides give the Benefit Administrator number as 1-800-825-4062, or 1-804-965-8071 collect from outside the U.S., and Discover Network cardholders can also use cardholderbenefits.com/capitalone 12. The Visa Infinite guide Capital One links still describes benefits in effect as of 10/01/21 1.

Capital One's Venture X lounge terms, last updated July 8, 2026, give complimentary access only to primary cardholders; lounge access for each additional cardholder costs $125 a year, and free guests at Capital One Lounges and Landings require $75,000 in calendar-year spending 3. The Global Entry or TSA PreCheck credit of up to $120 applies to Venture X and Venture among personal cards 4. Discover merged into Capital One on May 18, 2025, and Discover-branded cards now appear in Capital One's catalog 76.
