What to know about Wells Fargo cards
Three of the four branded cards carry no annual fee: Active Cash, a flat-rate cash rewards card; Autograph, which earns bonus points in everyday categories; and Reflect, for which Wells Fargo's materials describe no rewards earning 258. Autograph Journey is the travel card of the group, with a $95 annual fee 7. Active Cash and Reflect charge a 3% fee on transactions converted to U.S. dollars, while the two Autograph cards charge none 2857.
Wells Fargo Rewards balances do not expire while the card account is open 5. A Rewards Account can hold several cards; closing one of them leaves the rewards in the account, but closing every rewards-eligible card forfeits pending and active rewards 2. Transfers to participating travel loyalty programs are offered only on cards that earn points and only online, at 1 Wells Fargo point to 1 partner mile, point or credit unless Wells Fargo states otherwise 5. Existing Visa cardholders may be able to switch to another Wells Fargo card without a new application or credit check, and the rewards balance moves to the new card, though a switch brings no new rewards bonus or introductory rates 3.
