What to know about the Slate

Chase automatically considers cardmembers for a higher credit line every 6 months or sooner, and Chase Credit Journey gives a free credit score, improvement plans from Experian and identity monitoring ⁠1. A first DashPass activation gives 6 months of complimentary membership, after which DoorDash charges the monthly rate until it is cancelled ⁠1. DashPass members also get $10 off one qualifying non-restaurant DoorDash order each calendar quarter through Dec 31, 2027 ⁠1.

Slate's Guide to Benefits lists four protections: auto rental coverage, extended warranty, purchase protection and roadside assistance ⁠3. Purchase protection covers new items for 120 days (90 for New York residents) at up to $500 per item and $50,000 per account, and extended warranty adds one year to U.S. warranties of three years or less ⁠1⁠3. Rental car coverage reaches $60,000 for rentals up to 31 days; it is secondary in the U.S. unless the renter has no personal auto insurance, and primary abroad ⁠3. Roadside help is pay-per-use, with fees billed to the card at dispatch, and Zero Liability does not extend to an authorized user acting without the primary cardmember's approval ⁠1.
